I designed this free SVG as a single-line format file perfect for Cricut pens, the Cricut Foil Tool, or even the Debossing tool. Each option will give you a different look for your New Year cards, but all will be equally beautiful.

How to Use New Year Free SVG Card File

If you’re new to cutting machines or using SVG files, you will be amazed at how easy it is to utilize them in your crafting. I include specific instructions on uploading this file to a Cricut machine, but other cutting machines have similar instructions.

While we’re on cutting machines, I often get asked what my favorite Cricut machine is, so I wrote a thorough article on the differences between the Cricut Explore and Cricut Maker. If you’re in the market for a Cricut machine, you will want to check out that article!

1. Sign in to the Tried & True Creative Library to download the New Year free SVG card file by clicking the image of this project.
2. Save the file to your computer and upload it to Cricut Design Space (or other cutting machine programs).
3. Select your desired writing tool. Cricut has some great new pen options that will work great with this card, or there’s always the super glam option of adding Cricut Foil.
4. You can use premade cards with this file or add a few extra cut lines to create your own card from any thick cardstock.
5. Give your gorgeous New Year card to someone special to wish them a happy new year!

Other uses for New Years free SVG

Part of the magic of Cricut machines is that there are so many ways to put SVG files to good use! There’s almost no end to the benefits of New Year free SVG, from decorations to bookmarks, party accessories, and more.

I DON’T suggest using this file for cutting with heat transfer vinyl or permanent vinyl. The lines are way too thin to cut unless you add a bit of an offset. It’s your call if you want to try it!

You can use this file for New Year’s to create decorations for your home. How about using metallic pens to create a large New Year wall decoration? Or if you don’t have the space or need something easy to pack away, how about cutting the card out of acrylic or wood and making New Year’s ornaments? Or stickers to pass out your New Year’s party?

No matter how you use New Year’s free SVG card file, it will be a great way to add a unique touch to any New Year’s celebration!

New Year’s is a great time to reflect on the past year and set resolutions for the coming one. If you’re looking to add a personal creative touch to your New Year’s celebrations, why not try making your cards?

You can use a free SVG file to create beautiful New Year’s cards at home with your Cricut or another cutting machine. I’ve designed this New Year’s free SVG card file specifically for Cricut users, but other cutting machine users can also use the file. So download the file and get started with your New Year crafting!

My inspiration to make this calendar began when I saw this awesome Crafts Icon Pack on Creative Market. If you’ve never been over there, I highly suggest visiting! There are so many amazing graphics, photographs, and fonts that your little creative heart just might explode.

Now that I had the artwork for my Crafty Calendar, I briefly considered designing the actual calendar section but then Baby Emilia started teething (Oh the drool!) and well, turns out Creative Market has calendar layouts too (this is the one I used). I had to edit it quite a bit to make it match the look of the graphics but I totally love how it came out!

Printing out this calendar is super easy. Just print the pages on standard 8.5 x 11 cardstock and follow the light blue crop marks to trim off excess paper. I laid out the calendar so that it could be printed on both sides of 3 pieces of paper (January has February on the back, March has April, and so on) but you’re more than welcome to just print on the front if you’d like. Just keep in mind that you may have to print each page one at a time if you’re doing front/back. Or maybe not if you’ve got a fancy printer!

Once printed and cut, you can choose however you’d like to display the calendar! I just so happened to have this handy little clip board I bought a few years ago in the Target dollar section that totally matched. Another option would be to punch some holes into the side and add this cute calendar to a journal or scrapbook. Or use an clear acrylic picture stand to turn it into a desktop calendar for your craft room. So many options!

Free Printable Tag

Once you have your bags of popcorn, all you need to do is print and cut the free Easy Neighbor Gift for New Years gift tag I made especially to work with Pop Works & Company bags. I added little slits in the tags to insert ribbon strips before stapling to the top of the bag. FYI: Your printable tags will have a blank space in the back so that you can write a small message and sign. Forgot to put it on mine! After the label is attached to the bag just hang on your neighbor’s door to wish them a Happy New Year!

This time of year is so crazy hectic, I’m lucky if I remember to buy a gift for my husband! Thank goodness I have a few bags from Pop Works & Company to gift our neighbors this year.
